Manner

Manners are difficult to teach to employees.
The other day, one of the employee invited me for dinner, made me very happy.
And there, he told me to teach him manners because he has not been to high-class restaurant.
How to use knife and folk, how to select wine, the timing of payment, the difference when dating someone or inviting a customer, do not apply one's whole stock of knowledge, ask honestly when there is something you do not know, compliment the food when it is tasty, take a good care of waiters and waitresses, do not complain about the food or service no matter what, show appreciation for the great food, say thank you to the other person you spend the time with...
And I believe that the most important thing is that you should not make the other person care too much and you should not mention about the other person's manner.
How to eat, how to select, or how to pay... those are not manners, they are just "techniques."
When you care too much, then the other person has to care too much, too.
And this is not a good manner.
Also, you should not mention about the other person's manner.
The best manner is to spend a great time. How to use knife and folk, etc,. is just a technique, not a manner.
And his manner was quite good.
Thanks for the fun time.
